Every Thursday evening, from January 18 to Feb 29, line up with 30-sh of your soon-to-be-closest friends and speed past your Netflix and Disney+ addicted pals. There's no better way to ramp up for spring than rubbing elbows and chasing other riders in a circle. And nothing's more satisfying than crossing the finish line with a frozen perma-grin that lasts till Friday night. This year, the circus returns to the Chart House in Lakeville on a more party-friendly night. Just off Interstate 35, a few minutes past our Buck Hill Summer Series. We've got plans for longer laps and an ever-evolving course as the series goes on. PRIZES: Big prizes every night for both men's and women's podiums and sweet schwag for the losers — we love you most of all. REGISTRATION: Buy any fat bike At Freewheel between October and February, and you get the whole season on us! Just bring your receipt to the registration table on race day for free entry! Everybody else pays: $15 pre-reg $20 day-of NO CHARGE to come watch, heckle, and join the party. All are welcome! RACE DAY: Registration ends at 6:15 p.m., race starts at 6:30 p.m. This is an approximately 40-minute race, run crit-style by timing the first two laps and calculating total laps from there. COURSE: Our course features land laps that also run across the bay. Studded tires are a good idea, almost a requirement, but we aren't here to tell you how to feel. WHAT TO BRING: Lights — or buy some from #FreewheelBike Mobile on-site! A helmet! Your fat bike (3.8 inch tires or wider)!
