With geometry designed by the legendary Katie Compton, and Trek’s innovative IsoSpeed technology, the Boone 5 Disc is a pure cyclocross thoroughbred. OCLV carbon creates a stiff, light platform so you can nab the hole shot, effortlessly shoulder the frame on run-ups, and instantly accelerate for the sprint to the line. The Boone’s IsoSpeed decoupler takes the edge off rough terrain, while ensuring phenomenal power transfer. The E2 carbon fork tracks beautifully for off-camber confidence and Bontrager Race wheels are strong and fast on the straights and in the corners. Shimano’s workhorse 105 drivetrain and an FSA crank give you smooth, reliable shifting for seasons to come. Shimano hydraulic discs provide exceptional modulation, a carbon seatmast cap shaves weight, and a bevy of Bontrager components give you peace of mind when you’re rubbing elbows with the front of the pack.

Show bikes were used used in trade show displays and/or media photoshoots. All show bikes have been tuned and inspected by our mechanics and include the full manufacturer's warranty.

Trek's E2 head tube is 1 1/2 inches in diameter at the bottom and 1 1/8 inches at the top. This maximizes front-end stiffness for awesome steering precision and control, while allowing the use of standard 1 1/8-inch stems and not adding much weight.



Trek's IsoSpeed fork is ingeniously engineered with reversed dropouts, increased fork rake (offset) and a constant, gentle curve beginning at the crown and sweeping all the way to the axle. These brilliant innovations allow the fork to absorb shocks rather than transmitting them to the rider for optimum comfort and energy savings, and they also increase the fork's lateral stiffness for more control.

Trek's BB90.
Trek's Boone features a 90mm-wide bottom bracket. This extra width allows Trek to build frames with larger-diameter tubes for improved power transfer. The BB90 bearings are placed directly into the frame to save weight. The combined weight-savings and improved power transfer ensure additional pedaling efficiency and simplify maintenance.
