    Comments:

Not worth [$] price tag. It's a regular bike with the Trek name on it. Nothing wrong with it, BUT price tag should be around $100-$120 at most for what you getting. Crank and rear wheel movement is not smooth and it's very heavy for a kid bike - It weight about the same as our large frame adult bikes!

    Comments:

We have this bike in 12", 16" and 20" and the problem is the same with the 16 and 20...the chain ring is so small that our kids can't pedal fast enough to keep up on the bike path with their friends who have [...] bikes. The bikes are high quality but become useless pretty fast if you have boys who want to get on with it. My four year old went from riding without training wheels to frustrated in about 4 weeks.

My son recieved this bike for his third birthday and is currently three and a half we have taken the training wheels off and he loves it. The bike holds up well and is easy to ride. The wide tires and low frame helped him learn to ride the bike with out the training wheels.

My son loves riding single track with me on this. He tackles roots and other obstacles. Well made, local bike shop support at CSH, bike can take a beating and keep on going. Worth the extra money. My sons smile says it all.

          Comments:

After much searching, we bought a pair of these bikes for our 5 year old twins and they couldn't be happier. They've been riding "box mart" bikes for a couple years and I was constantly having to fix this or replace that. These bikes are sturdy, well constructed, and built to last. When looking for a good bike, I strongly suggest spending a little more money than you'd anticipate for a childs bike. It's definitely worth it!

Just got this and love it for my 4 year old! The size is perfect and it rides smooth. It is a little heavy but I think it adds to its stability and my son won't be lifting it anyway.

            Comments:

This is the bike my daughter learned to ride without training wheels. She was highly motivated and learned quickly, in about a week. The Jet 16 is a very solid, well build little bike. It provided a very stable platform for learning, yet good enough performance that she was able to ride it up to twelve miles. At $[...], it is a little pricey for a kid's bike, so if your child is not going to ride often, you might want to find something cheaper. However, if you plan to get them out with you on the trails and log some miles, this little bike will give them more than enough to grow and learn with.
